Call the parts department of a local Toyota dealer and ask that question of them.
Transmission (drain and refill): 2.6 quarts
Differential: 1.7 quarts.
If you are going to change Transmission Fluid do not forget to change fluid in differential. Even the system is much cleaner by itself but it accumulates small pieces of metal with time. Also Toyota does not recommend to use full synthetic fluid in 97-99 Camry model. My experience shows that they have a point. especially it's not recommended for old transmissions.

Fine to use Dextron four instead of the old dextron three
If you have a problem using the newer type you should have a trans shop check you transmission, it’s not the fluid that’s the problem
