usally it means the wire is off the sending unit OR Grounded-It's an electrical sending unit- usally-if it's manuel-(Broke gauge) IF the OIL PRESSURE is really bad the VALVES will B tapping & the motor will make BAD noises & get VERY HOT.
look on the side wall of the tire for max psi that is the tire pressure
Have you checked the fuses? You have an open circut (broken/disconnected wire, blown fuse) somewhere.
your car has a speed sensor located on the transmission replace that and problem is solved
Need to check the EGR valve. It sounds like it is opening to quick.
If you are using the little cans found in auto parts store attach adapter to low pressure side of A/C system to add charge. R134-A systems have different size valves to make it impossible to mix up the hi and low pressure sides.
ck oil pressure with gauge, if ok replace oil sending unit there is also a $20.00 dollars oil pressure sensor that sits underneath the engine by the oil pan area(front), this sensor can get old and display the wrong pressure in the system.
The proper fuel pressure of a 1995 Astro van should be between 55-61 psi. Checking the fuel pressure at home requires a fuel pressure gauge and knowledge of the location of the shader valve on the fuel rail.
its located next to the oil filter
You need to attach a fuel pressure gauge to the port on the fuel rail to measure the pressure.
Called an "oil pressure sender", it's most usually close to the oil filter.
Remove the oil pressure sensor, connect a manual oil pressure gauge to the port & start engine. You should have 10 18 psi at idle. hope it helps, Slackers Of Va.
The pressure is checked with a gauge, the electronics are checked with an appropriate scan tool and a volt/ohm meter. The pressure is checked with a gauge, the electronics are checked with an appropriate scan tool and a volt/ohm meter.
1. low oil 2. electronic oil pressure switch has failed (probably not a mechanical oil pressure gauge cause then you would see a oil line running through the firewall to the gauge. 3. short in the wiring
It's low on freon.
My oil pressure gauge is dropping to o and the oil was just changed and is full. What could cause this
Probably because it has a big tank that fluctuates. I could be wrong too though.
Fuel pressure gauge hokked to port, gauge has a relief valve and hose to dump to a container. Can try pulling fuse for fuel pum, turn engine over for a period long enough to relieve most but not all the pressure.
