Have you checked the fuses? You have an open circut (broken/disconnected wire, blown fuse) somewhere.
check to see if the window switch of the driver's side is getting power, if you are getting power to the switch and the switch is sending power out to the motor but the motor is not responding the motor needs to be replaced
Check out this web sight it should help you. http://repairpal.com/
Start by checking fuses Then check the light bulbs Some Bonnevilles have “Cluster lights” These should be checked by a dealership or a qualified mechanic
Remove the reed cage and look at the valves carefully. If they don't close all the way, or the corners are chipped/cracked, they should be replaced.
check your dip stick to see if your engine oil is too low. also check oil sending unit
check the wiring to the speedometer. Check the sending unit as well. If the problem is internal then the speedometer will have to be replaced.
pull the gauge cluster and check to make sure all the wires are hooked up. if not it will probably be the sending unit or even problems with the fuel pump. pull the gauge cluster and check to make sure all the wires are hooked up. if not it will probably be the sending unit or even problems with the fuel pump.
Is it just the cluster or the whole dash lights are out? If whole dash check the fuse or as I have had similar problem light this was the headlight switch and replaced it.
Ground the temperature sending unit and the gauge should go to hot. If it does not the the gauge is defective. The instrument cluster will have to be sent off for repair. had the same problem, check for bad fuse located in fuse box under the hood on drivers side.
if you've replaced those 2 parts you should check the fuses and or relays. If those are good then find the ground from the pump and or sending unit and trace it back. also make sure that the sending unit is getting power. that should do it.
You should send it out to the people who are getting married;or to wedding planers
First check the speedometer cable going into the top of the transmission. If it is not broken the instrument cluster must be replaced.
When you replaced the fuel pump did you replace the short fuel line from the pump to sending unit? I didn't when I replaced the fuel pump on my 94 Safari and I had that problem. Also check to see if the pump is running when you turn the key on it should run for a few seconds. If pump works replace fuel filter. If still no luck check the fuel pressure. It should be around 80 to 100 psi.
you might have a tumor, you should check it immediately with a doctor
Fuel sending unit is in the tank, you need to check that the wiring is ok. Take the unit out and then turn the ignition but DO NOT START the engine - after holding the three wires from the sending unit together - this should show full tank and also low fuel indicator as being on. This show circuit is ok and sending unit is faulty. Regards - Qaiser
Break pads should be checked if not replaced. Check condition of rotors at the same time.
check thermostat and temp sending units there should be two
