The relay is bad.
I just replaced the front heater motor in my 99 Suburban, it worked great, now the heater/ac absolutely does nothing. Could the switch be bad, the motor, I am stumped and need help. Thanks Jim.
replace the heater temperature switch
Pull the front dash bezel out that surrounds the cluster and the radio and the a/c-heater controls out and then remove the controller and replace the switch.............
Check fuse if the blower is not working. If it is then replace your heater core. if its not then replace your fan switch.
The heater switch can be replaced on a Chevrolet Corsica by removing the three wires from the back of the switch. Put the wires onto the new switch and return it to its slot.
Some of these models had problems with the switch itself; You may want to replace it.
Need a little more info on what your trying to replace. Is it the switch in the dash? It's in the overhead console.
take the old switch out, put a new one in
Your heater switch may not need to be replaced. The heater high position is controlled by a fuse under the hood. Until you find the fuse and replace it, your new switch will not work. JRR.
light out on the seat heater switch on passenger side. High low indicator is ok. How do you replace bulb?
It is the resistor, replace it.
As heater motors age, they tend to draw more amps than they should. Yours is probably drawing too much amperage causing the switch to heat up. Remedy is to replace the heater motor and possibly the switch as the terminals get hot and oxidize.
