What could you possibly mean by blowing back?
Answer 2When you say blowing back, is the fluid in the reservoir airated? It could be that the pump is cavitating or you have a problem on the feed line from the reservoir to the pump if the reservoir is a remote one. Sounds like the pump requires attention.www.powerbrakeandsteering.co.za
Car not blowing air or heat
Yes and no.. the powersteering it self is a motor that is in the steering column. a fuse power's the motor, so if you blow the fuse you will lose powersteering. If you jump start your car from the +- terminals Near the fuse box under the hood you will blow your powersteering fuse, also if you lock the wheel all the way to one side and hold it there for a good amount of time there is a chance in blowing your powersteering fuse. Always Jump your car from the battery terminals in the Trunk. there are two powersteering fuses located under the hood of the ion in the fuse box ( look at the chart that is in the fuse box to see which ones are which ) Jay Corrections by Stupendous Man!
Without testing a guess would be a blend door or actuator or maybe a control problem
The powersteering reservoir has the filler tube molded on/in it.
From my understanding it is not a fuse to fix the powersteering. It is a colum that has to be fixed by the dealer ship but I maybe wrong........
no it dose not have powersteering belt... it uses a hydraulic pump to turn
