Two problems that I can think of are you need to add some antifreeze or you need to replace the thermostat. it is a vacuum leak-replace the vacuum line from the right side along the right front-tiny vacuum line probably split
TRANSMISSION MODULATOR SEE IF IT BLOWS SMOKE OUT THE EXHAUST
You have to first diagnose and correctly identify the issue causing the problem before you can repair it. There are several reasons why AC systems can blow hot - to know how to repair it you need to know that reason.
Possibly needs recharged with refrigerant. You can check low pressure side with a guage.
it blows air
A shorted wire in the console or the brake circuit. Does the car still have brake lights? If there are no children in your household then it is possible to defeat the lockmechanically.
I have a 2006 Altima and it is doing the same thing.
AnswerReplace the blower resistor.
that is bad... go get it checked up on!
we changed radaitor & thermastate , now heater blows cold air
MY 05 NISSAN MAXIMA BLOWS HOT AIR. WHEN THE CAR HAD 15000 MILES WE TOOK IT TO THE DEALER FOR THE SAME PROBLEM AND THEY SID THE COOLANT WAS A LITTLE LOW AND THEY ADDE SOME. BUT THE PROBLEM HAS PERSISTED AND NOW WE HAVE TO TAKE IT BACK AGAIN. THE CAR NOW HAS 22000 MILES.
It sounds like your air flow diverter is stuck on defrost. Basically it is a little door that diverts the air fom vent to defrost to feet. It could be either the heater control valve, or te temperature selecter cable is broke.
you have to by pass the heater core. get a 3/4 heater connection piece just one way trim your hoses down and then plug off your heater coe connections on your fie wall might try to take out fuse for blower motor if that dont work.you have to bypass heater core very simple thing
Refrigerant level low or cooling fan not working. worst case would be that the compressor no longer can build enough pressure and needs to be replaced
TRY THE AIRCONDITIONING BELT
Is the compreser working how about the dryer/evaperater
Call the repairman.
Blows on #4 only? I would replace the resistor. #4 speed by-passes the resistor.
Check to see if the switch is any good . Most of the time it is the switch.
Well the main reason why your car blows out cold then hot is because the air conditioner may not be working properly. You should go to the car shop and get it fixed.
Well, you can open it to find out. But mostly, you will know they are not working if the air conditioner blows hot air, or stops working all together.
Your ac compressor will blow the ac fuse because the coil (the electrical part of the compressor clutch) that plugs in just behind the pulley is bad. A bad coil will cause the fuse to blow. That said, you will probably not be able to find the coil separately, other than buying it from the dealer. We sell the entire compressor on our website: www.acpartshouse.com Good Luck! I have the same problem with my 1993 300zx NT coupe. Each time I replace fuse and then turn on A/C it blows it again.
A fuse doesn't go bad. It protects a circuit. If the circuit is overloaded the fuse blows. If your Nissan is running sluggish, it is not a fuse going bad.
The compressor needs to be changed. There is no more pressure in it. It keeps working but only hot air is comes out.
Check fuses. If fust blows repeatedly, check for short.
