What is wrong with a Chevy 305 if the motor turns over but doesn't start at times but other times it will start?
Check the carborator, fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pickup tank unit. If all are ok then replace the coil and check test light for power with key on for power to hot side coil. If all else fails call your local garage for an appointment to your 305 cheby.
How you can solve the problem for one of a dc motor that connected to pulse width modulation and this motor didn't start?
remove the distributor cap. turn the motor by hand and watch the rotor on the distributor. once it moves turn the motor the other way. if rotor on distributor doesnt move amost imidiately after you start tuning motor by hand the chain has some stretch in it and most likely should be replaced. the motor will run noticably better with a good tight chain. if its a factory chain with nylon gears it is junk…
Your 93 Chevy pickup wipers started to fail intermittently then failed altogther At first you could tap the motor and they would start but now that does not work anymore What to do?
As long as it is an induction 110 volt motor it can be reversed; if it is any other type of motor it cannot be reversed. You will have to get into the windings to bring both leads to the start in order to make it go in reverse. <<>> A split phase induction motor has two sets of coils and a centrifugal start switch. The start winding is in series with the start switch…
Looking for a wiring diagram for a remote start the name of it is command start my 93 Chevrolet truck will not start with remote?
What causes a Chevy silverado to not start but still has power and makes the temp and fuel gauge go back and forth?
Answer The motor will keep on running for a while but the current will rise on the other two phases and the overload relay will fall out, if its properly set and the motor will stop if the overload relay is set to high the motor will burn out <><><><><><> in the start Motor will start to shake the if there is no protection devices for over-load on the motor it will simple explode:) I…
A capacitor-start motor is one in which the capacitor is in the circuit only during the starting period: the capacitor and its auxiliary "start" winding are disconnected automatically by a centrifugal switch or other device when the motor reaches a predetermined speed. A capacitor start-and-run motor is one in which the capacitor remains in-circuit during both start-up and running periods of operation.
The two windings are in parallel with each other. Some motors have a capacitor placed between the two windings. Other connections find a switch between the two windings. When the motor gets up to speed, the switch opens and the start winding is taken out of the circuit and the motor runs on the run winding.
a start winding on a motor is used to add torque to start a motor, and more importantly to establish the direction that the motor will turn. to reverse a motor normally means to reverse the start winding. the run winding will work the same in either direction, the start winding determines the direction.
