What is wrong with your steering if you have to hold the wheel firmly or it will turn automatically to the right?

You could have low air presure in the right front tire or a draging right front brake. Also a bad right front wheel bearing, a bent tie rod or a bent lower control arm. Additionally, "Negative Caster" of the wheel alignment (right-side) will definitely cause steering to turn automatically to the right while driving in a level area, or roadway. ......Certified Mechanic. ......."Good Luck!"
