i have only a slight idea. if you no wat fermentation is, then u just hav yeast with it. if u dont no wat fermentation is, then ill tell u. Fermentation is the process by which cells release energy under anaerobic conditions (generally). Several major products of fermentation are ethanol, lactic acid, and hydrogen gas. Fermentation of sugars by yeast is typically used as the source of ethanol for Alcoholic Beverages.

Anaerobic respiration. It is a way cells make ATP's. It is less efficient than aerobic respiration, but as such only performed when oxygen is not available to be the final electron acceptor for chemiosmosis.
