Comp Cam is considered a leader in valve train technology. Some of the products available are Valve Springs and solid Roller Lifters that you may need for whatever kind of engine that you have.
You can put the Vortec in it if you have the wiring and ecm to run it. or you could use the Vortec heads and an aftermarket intake and really wake up your engine. The vortecs use a roller cam.
The only thing special about the Vortec is the heads -bore and stroke should be the same on all 350 blocks. Cam is probably different though.
no the cam remains the same,
375 sound right?
It is in the distributor.
No cam sensor. Just a crank sensor on the bottom of the timing cover
In most cases either will work. but you know how you are building your engine so you should know better then I do whats best. NO!!! if you have the serial # of the cam get ahold of comp cams and they can tell you if it is a roller or flat tappit cam they are totaly diffrent cams and WILL NOT INTERCHANGE LIFTERS
all depends on wat you want to do with the engine. if you want to tow with it, id recommend a comp cams 268H. if youre wanting as much horsepower as you can get just by changing cam id recommend comp cams xe274H
That requires an OBDII engine scanner to do that.
You need peoples unregistered cam in your comp depends on which cam you use
