in Norway only one musical instrument allowed, and it´s called fele. it´s the norwegian version of the violin. The best feles get to be hardingfeles. they are really popular over there. Once, someone illegaly imported a synth and started to play, i think it was in the 80´s, but they got thown out of the country. They call themselves stargate and party with Rihanna.

Norwegian Wood is basically an acoustic guitar song incorporating a sitar played by George Harrison. The bass was dubbed in later and there are no drums, but if you listen carefully you can hear finger cymbals occasionally.

i have a friend who lives in Norway and he says that about 50 percent of the people in Norway listen to black or unblack metal which is a very dark religious form of music where black metal discriminates Christianity and un black metal discriminates satanism. ( im catholic and i prefer unblack metal)

the other 50 percent is most likely pop and other stuff like that
