Don't use any oil that says "energy conserving". They are bad for any vehicle with a wet clutch, meaning most motorcycles. Essentially all 0w-20, 5w-30, and 10w-30 oils are energy conserving and should not be used in your bike. (all Japanese bikes included). The moybenum additives can cause the clutch to slip. I prefer Motul 5100 synthetic blend in my CBR 600 and all my wet clutch bikes. Many people feel motorcycle oils are worth the premium price. Honda and Yamalube oils are highly respected. Others say you will be fine with diesel engine oils such as Shell Rotella T which are significantly less expensive. There is a lot written about this topic on the web, and many opinions abound. I am about to try Shell Rotella T synthetic in my BMW bike.
