Salt Systems tend to be very weather dependent. High temperatures and daily rains have a drastic affect on performance. Look into Ultraviolet Pool Sanitizers. They kill more bacteria,virus,germs, and eliminate up to 95% of chemicals. They are not weather dependant and require a simple bulb replacement once per year. UV with a small amount of Chlorine is the way to go.

Saltwater can be used as an antiseptic, however, much better antiseptics are available; I would recommend polysporin cream.

That would mean a saltwater pool. With a salt water pool the water is run through a electronic chlorinater this is a device that separates chlorine from the salt turns it into chlorine gas which is then simultaneously dissolved into the water. you never have to add chlorine.

It probably would make it worse. Chlorine is heavier than water, so when the dispenser releases chlorine, it would sit at the bottom, rather than drift down.

That would be determined by what YOU mean by better. Some people would find higher humidity better, others would find lower humidity better. Asl Texas and Arizona are HUGE areas and they have a range of humidities..

you have to buy a saltwater generator from a pool store or intex, then I use water softening salt i got mine at home depot it takes about 4 days for it to dissolve with your pump running constantly then turn your generator on that's all you have to do i love my saltwater pool

You would be FAR better off switching to 'chlorine'. Then, better off still by going to 'salt', rather than munual chlorination. The saline system eliminates all of the obnoxious effects of pool-chlorine (odors, skin irritations, damaged hair and bathing suits etc) while still producing chlorine, the most effective sanitizer known for pools.
