Hi, Manual transmission would be hypoid gear oil 80W-90 if the temps never go below 0 degrees or can be always 75W-85 or 75W-90 if the temps will go below o degrees in your area. Automatic transmissions use Dexron lll Automatic Transmission Fluid. Do Not use Type-F or Hypoid Gear Oil. I hope this clears this up for you and is timely for you. Steve H..
