The story of Pocahontas is much more drab in reality and truth than the fanciful fictions written in movies. Pocahontas the movie succeeded as it built on a type of Romeo and Juliet storyline that is always a good sell. Pocahontas the real person succeeded because she stayed true to her cultural teachings.
