For people who believe in a dispensational view of The Bible, prophetical verses have meaning, as given in the following. The most important biblical date of late is 1948, because that is when the prophecy of the generation of the fig, prophesied by Christ (Matthew 24, Mark 13), and Jeremiah (24), took place.

The final generation of mankind occurred as the prophecy of Jeremiah 24 commenced when Judah was placed back in the land of Israel (1948).

Biblical generations are 70, 80 and 120 years in length (Psalm 90, and Genesis 6). In one of those generational timeframes the end of this 2nd earth iteration will come to pass.

No man knows the specific day or hour but the wise know the season and the months of the year in which these things will occur, because its given in biblical texts.

Christ identifies the final generation (Matthew 24 and Mark 13)
