Apply the parking brake, but not the driving brake, is the noise there? apply the brake,if the noise is only present when the brake is applied I would assume it is the anti-lock brake system. Get your VIN # of the vehicle and call a Ford dealer and give them the # and ask if there are recalls for your vehicle. There are a few for this one but it depends on the vin. There is a anti-lock brake recall, but as I said it depends on where it was made if it falls under the recall.
This question makes no sense, but you might try and changing it from .doc to .avi or .wmv by clicking once on the item and pressing F2.
YOU NEED NEW CALIPERS . THEY ARE STICKING
there is an ABS siloniod located to the upper left of the brake pedal, under the dash you can check. Is the ainti-lock brake warning light illuminated on the instrument panel?
If it's a 4-wheel drive then it could be the axel joint / CV joint. It could also be the brake pads.
My best guess is that you have a slightly warped disk rotor on whichever side is causing the clicking. When the rotor is warped, its rotation bumps it up against the brake caliper(s) causing a clicking sound. If that's what it is - it's not dangerous unless you've noticed a significant loss of braking power. When you replace your front bakes eventually, they'll resurface (or flatten out) your rotors if they can or they'll replace them.
probly to save the battery? it's a weird feature if it's like that. that type of thing only makes sense for the head lamps.
clicking
central airconditioner makes a clicking noise when running? any idea what to check?
The males gobbles and the female makes a clicking sound.
it makes that clicking noise because you touch yourself at night
the clicking sound is the blinker. when you signal to turn with your blinker the light flashes and makes a clicking sound.
your first mistake you pushed on the gas pedal while you were in park you can mess your transmition up that why but it sounds like a carrier barring
