Wool, animal skins, leather.. As the Crusades took the men across exotic countries, they brought back Silks , Damask (from Damascus) , Baldachin, an exotic material made from silk and gold woven together from Baghdad (which is now Iraq)..

Most upper class people adorned their clothing with elaborate embroidery stitchery across the front, along sleeves and hems, depending upon their nobility, their clothing were also adorned with precious and semi-precious jewels. Crowns were fashioned from gold and precious stones.
