First of all, the 700r4 trans. will not even bolt up to the 5.3L
You will also have to put an electric fuel pump inside the fuel tank so the engine will run. You will need a complete wiring harness that goes to the transmission and engine plus a PCM / Power Train Control Module / computer for the 5.3L
You will have to modify the engine frame mounts and add speed sensors. It will cost alot of MONEY. I could go on but I think you get the message.
no
That truck should have the 700R4 transmission in it.
Should be a 700R4 Trans.
Yes you can.
most common was the turbo 400 and the 700r4
There is a version of the 700R4 that mates to the 2.8 liter V6. Commonly found in GM/Chevy S Series Pick-ups/Blazers. The bellhouse pattern in different that the 4.3 and 2.5.
No they are not the one put behind the 2.8 has a differentbellhousing and different internals which must be upgradefd if installed behind v8 and the 200r4 as its known is normally found in 1978 mustang 2 and the bronco 2 as well
If the S-10 was equiped with a 4.3 liter engine the transmission will probably fit the 350. The transmission used with the 2.8 liter engine WILL NOT fit the 350 engine.
4L60E transmission.
Dodge, Chrysler, Plymouth no.
