It all depends on how religions are categorized. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the mainstream "Mormon" church) is generally ranked one of the top five fastest growingChristian denominations in the United States. It is also one of the largest denominations in the United States, although the numbers vary in different polls because what counts as a denomination and how denominations count their members varies. (for example, are they clumping all Baptists together, or separating them into the Southern Baptists, Independent Baptists, American Baptists, Free Will Baptists, Missionary Baptists, Reformed Baptists, etc? Are members regular attenders or do occassional attenders count? Do baptized children count or only adults?)
