hi there noob
I think you mean what negative impacts the British Empire had on Australia? But anyway I'll answer YOUR question. And that is, Australia didn't have any negative impact on the British Empire. It served as a perfect prison colony as a cheap way for the Empire to dump its prisoners. It produced vast amounts of wool for the Empire which is where the Australian saying comes from 'To break the sheeps back'. It experienced one of the largest gold rushes in history therefore bringing more wealth to the British. It never rebeled against the Empire so there was no expenditure on military. Australia also had a large part to play in colonial wars in that part of the world notably the NZ wars, the Sudanese war, and the Boer war. Although Australia became independent in 1901, today it is still part of the commonwealth and is now called the crown jewell.

The countries were never owned by England. They were part of the British empire. The Commonwealth only has countries in it that were part of the British empirel It is only the countries that are involved in the Commonwealth that can participate in the games. Some countries that were part of the British empire have chosen not to be part of the Commonwealth, so there are some countries that were in the British Empire but are not part of the Commonwealth and so they do not participate in the games.

The foundation of Singapore breaks the monopoly and the Dutch are no longer the exclusive sovereigns of the eastern seas. Simply put: -To break Dutch monopoly -To protect British trade with China -To extend British influence
Canada is part of the commonwealth becaues of trade, and other economic reasons, not for it's social or athletic reasons. example- In Canada, you say hockey in reference of ice hockey. In the rest of the commonwealth, you say hockey in reference of field hockey. In Canada you play baseball, in the rest of the commonwealth you play cricket. If it was not for the United States influences, Canada would be a true menber of commonwealth. They are members for political and economic reasons.

In 1914, most Canadian could not find Serbia on a map. Although Archduke Ferdinand's assassination was news-worthy and tragic, few Canadians understood what it meant. However, Canada was a proud and loyal member of the British Empire. Canada's relations with foreign powers were in hand OS Great Britain. When Britain was at war, Canada was automatically at war, but Canada could determine the extent and nature of its effort. While many Canadians were keen to follow Britain to the battlefields of Europe, few understood the back-ground causes of the war. Many felt that Britain was in the right and Germany was at fault. So without much thinking or real debate, the young country advanced into the unknown. Canadians eagerly joined a war that they hd absolutely no role in causing or declaring. They would, however, play a great part in fighting the war. They would also soon know the pain and price of war.
