We as a people destroy their habitat or our greed wipes out entire species. The rainforest is being cut down millions of species become extinct every day . The Polar ice caps are melting more species will go there too. Urban built areas in developing countrise will destroy local species this isn't a problem in US anymore because most of the endangered wildlife was killed years ago. We over fish in the seas which wipes out entire species of whale and other sea animals so pretty much wherever you go something is dying out.
However if you are looking for a specific the most famous one is probably the Giant Panda In Asia there just arent enough of them to breed themselves back to decent numbers and don't breed in captivity so we cant help very much its very sad
-Really this is an extreme exaggeration, All around the world governments are setting up laws to protect the species that populations have fallen and many of these species are making a comeback (Bald Eagle and Red Wolves are two good examples) but some people's greed overrides their conscience and they illegally poach at any way possible to earn a quick buck. Many Asian Countries have hunted many of their native species to extinction and it has only been by international peer pressure that some of them are laying off. Truly the places where animals are becoming extinct is in Asia where every single animal is seen as a food item.
