germination
Unless harvested, wheat seeds would fall to the ground and germinate. A strong wind would help to blow the seeds further from the parent plant.
mitosis.
Asexual Reproduction - the offspring will be exact genetic copies of the parent.
Mitosis. The parent nucleus splits into two daughter nuclei containing chromosomes identical to that of the parent cell.
Its called budding.
Vivipary
A child process is a process that was created by a parent process. The child process usually helps the parent process accomplish some task independently of the parent.
Strawberries are usually grown from runners from the parent plant not seeds
Disperse is defined as the transfer of a seed or fruit from the parent plant to other places where the seed may germinate.
fork gives a 0 value for child process and non zero for parent process
Fragmentation is a type of asexual reproduction that involves an organism starting to grow out of the parent organism that may or may not remain attached to the parent organism.
Zombie : Child Process Exits before Parent process and Parent does not grab status of child process using wait() or waitpid() system call; Child process is in Zombie state. Orphan : Child process whose parent has been killed and inherited by init process.
The process which produces an exact copy of the parent organism is asexual.
In budding , a small part of the body of the parent organism grows out as bud which then detaches and becomes a new organism.... While in spore formation the parent plant produces hundreds of microscopic reproductive units caleed spores . When the spore case of the plant burts , then the spores spread into air. and then after the process they germinate and produce new plants.
The almond trees in my yard all started from a parent tree dropping almonds and having them germinate. the parent tree started 3 baby trees in a span of 20 years. Whereas, one of the baby trees started dropping fruit and having it germinate it's first crop. This has happened for the last three seasons now.
Process ID and Parent Process ID
The process by which a parent plant produces a baby plant or seedling is called germination. Seeds need germination because then there will be less plants in the world, like humans do seeds also need germination.
