Engine cooling fans are protected by relays in the engine compartment power distribution . fuse box.
1995-1998
Here is the schematic diagram that shows the locations of the 2001, Ford Windstar fuses and circuit breakers,,in both the cabin (passenger compartment) and "under the hood" circuit panel boxes. (cooling fan relays,, separate high speed and low speed relays are located near the car's battery under the hood).http://ford.justanswer.com/uploads/eppic60/2007-04-15_192836_fuse_wind.pdfEngine Cooling Fan Fuses/Relays1995-1998 Engine compartment fusebox # B & H1999-2003 Engine compartment fusebox - Fuse #107 and relays #301 & 303
On a 1998 Mercury Tracer, the cooling fan relays are located in an engine compartment box. The compartment box should be labeled 'Cooling Fan 40 amp.'
If you have replaced the relays in your 1997 Toyota RAV 4, the engine cooling fan may not come on when it is supposed to because of a failure in the wiring, the thermostat that sends to the fan, or the fuse for the cooling system.
Yes. Cooling fan, engine fan, and radiator fan relays are all the same thing.
3 relays
relays will be found on inerfenders or firewall
believe it is in power distribution box along with other relays and fuses. it is activated by the engine coolant temperature sensor.
not 100% sure but under the bonnet to the left in a black box with all the other relays
There are 3 cooling fan relays located in the fuse box just above the battery, in the engine compartment. (passenger side, near the front of the car) You will have to take the fuse box cover off. The other side of the cover lists all relays. I think the radiator cooling fan motors are switched in series or in parallel depending on how much airflow is needed - hence the 3 relays.
the cooling fan relays are behind and below the center of the radiator
because the air conditioner puts a load on the engine... check your cooling fan relays.. the fan should run with the air on at idle
There is a black rectangular box in the engine compartment, drivers side. On the underside of the cover is a diagram of all relays and fuses that will show you which is which.
