∙ 9y agoThe Germanic kingdoms transformed the Roman world by destroying the western part of the Roman Empire. These were the kingdoms of the peoples who invaded this part of the Roman Empire or took over parts of if it after having been allowed to settle within the empire (the Franks and the Visigoths). The eastern part of the Roman Empire was not affected by these invasions and continued to exist for nearly 1,000 years.
