I believe you press Alt + F to access the Office Menu

That actually only brings up the file menu for the application that currently has the input focus. It does not necessarily work for any arbitrary application having the focus. It probably depends on which version of office you have, and what version of windows you are running. In my case, Office Pro 2007 on XP Pro, I do not see a global shortcut key to get to a "master" office menu. If someone knows, please refine this answer.

∙ 12y agoYou can use either the Alt key or the F10 key to activate the menu and then press the key for the actual menu you want. So Alt - F or F10 - F will open the File menu for example.
