- It is always wise to choose your friends carefully and to get to know them well before confiding any of your innermost feelings. The person threatening you may be teasing you or, it's possible they are blackmailing you emotionally. Never give into this and let the person tell if they want to and you can deny it by acting calm and rolling your eyes if someone should approach you about what you said and this may well give that person the idea that the person you told your secret to is lying. Next time think before you tell someone something you don't want spread around.
