My 86 ranger had 205/75/15 tires on it 205 being the width in millimeters,75 being height in millimeters or a aspect ratio ? and 15 being a rim size in inches
The 87 Ranger-xlt 4x4 I own has 235/75/15.
My 1990 E350 has 235 85 R 16 size tires.
i have a 1968 ford f250 high boy its stock tire size is 235/85/16 but it will clear 35 inch tires or some 285/75/16
OEM tires were most likely 215/75R14s
If your 2000 Ranger XLT is a 4x4 and has the 16in. stock wheels, the tallest tires you can install without rubbing or modification are 235/85/16. With 15in stock wheels the 32/950/15 is very close. You may have to modify for these. I currently have 235/85/16s under my stock 2000 XLT Ranger. Goodluck.
My '85 has P175/70R13 tires.
The 1985 Ford Ranger smog pump is located on the firewall in the engine compartment. The smog pump will be on the drivers side of the firewall.
A forgotten tool maybe ? Or a stone .

According to the 1998 Ford Ranger Owner Guide : ( no ) For the 2.5 litre four cylinder engine , 3.0 and 4.0 litre V6 engines ( " regular " unleaded gasoline , 87 octane is recommended )
I have a 1988 ford ranger 2.9L V6. the speedo stops at 85 but ive had it pegged all the way to the bottom. Judging by the distances between the speeds on the gauge i would say it was about 104 or 105 mph.
On a 1996 Ranger the manual shows to lift the clutch pedal every 5000 miles to adjust the hydraulic clutch - I have no idea if your's is the same
