There is no known state where the Pilgrims went before sailing to America. Though they had gone to the Netherlands for a number of years. The Mayflower left from England after stopping to meeting up with the Speedwell's passengers from the Netherlands and before traversing the Atlantic Ocean to land at Cape Cod instead of their expected destination at the Colony of Virginia.
