The temperature gage in a 2000 Chevrolet 1 ton with a 454 should stay about in the middle of the temperature variation. It will probably run slightly hotter when towing.
Turn the AC on and the electric fan on the radiator should run.
Around 190-200 deg F.
the fan kicks on 212 deg. it should run about 195 to 200 if it getting hotter than this you may need to change the thermostat and the you can put ome or go with something diff.
Depends on the gear ratio of the final drive(differential gears). Typically about 2100 to 2400RPM
No. The fan should shut off when the engine temp is to cold for the fan to be on. If its on all the time the temperature switch/sensor is probably defective.
Why does my 2000 Pontiac Grand Am, with a 2.4L engine, run rough at idle but runs normally when placed in neutral? I changed the plugs and air filter, but the problem continues.
Fuel lines on a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am are located along the frame of the vehicle. They run from the gas tank, all the way up to the fuel injector rail.
All you have to do is pull out where the window is and it should start to pop off, then run your fingers down the side and the door panel should just pop right off.
Chevy Cavalier should run about 195F or 91C
