The 2002 Chevrolet Suburban runs on regular unleaded.
The 2002 Bonneville with a 3.8l engine has the thermostat in the top radiator hose inlet. A different engine any use a different location.
Depends a bit on where you live, and whether you use the Suburban for towing. For general use, in mild climates, 5W30 is recommended. For colder climates or for a vehicle that tows a lot (or has a snow plow attached!), you should consult the owners guide for the recommended weight.
use the factory installed call an auto parts store and they will tell you the right thermostat you should be using
You should use a thermostat gasket along with the thermostat housing ring. The gasket should be replaced every time the thermostat housing is opened.
You should use 10W 30 of any good quality oil.
Most newer suburbans that i know of take 5w-30 but the brand of oil you use is your preference. i know my 2002 suburban takes 5w-30.
Chevy doesn't use reset/inertia switches.
The Parts store will know when you tell them what you have.
