1920-1921 Kandy Kake (now known as Baby Ruth) was invented in the early 1900's by the Curtiss Candy Company, but because 'Kandy Kakes' weren't quite popular, the company decided to rename it Baby Ruth and introduce 'Baby Ruth' to the public in the early 1920's.
