Hi there, When my cat had constipation I was advised by my vet to give him weetabix with milk and to put enough milk in the weetabix to make the cereal soggy. Due to the high fibre this will help his bowels move. However if the constipation has been going on for over 48hours then see your vet. My vet recommended canned pumpkin for a cat with bad constipation. We mixed it in his food and even shot it into his mouth with a syringe. He didn't like it much but it helped.
Try getting your cat to eat oily fish such as pilchards, or mix some pumpkin puree (not the pie filler) in with some wet cat food. A little cooked Tomato Juice is also said to work. These things help lubricate the cat's digestive tract. You can try a little cat milk, and add water to soft cat food. It important to ensure the cat is getting fluids.
Constipation, if left untreated for more than 48 hours, can become severely detrimental to a cat's health to the point of being fatal. It is recommended to see a vet if the constipation does not clear up before 24 hours. Frequent bouts of constipation can sometimes be a symptom of an underlying medical problem.

I once raised four stray kittens that were bound to die with a stray mother that ran away. When a kitten is born, they are unable to go to the bathroom on their own. Their mother will like the kitten to stimulate bowel movements. My suggestion to you, depending on how old the kitten is, is to get a towel and damp it with luke warm water. Gently wipe the kitten's behind, until there is some movement.
For kittens able to toilet on their own:
A constipated kitten will not want to play. Instead, it will most likely be lethargic, will refuse to eat and some even stop grooming. Some kittens will constantly lick their anal area in an attempt to relieve the soreness.

A cat with constipation will often go off its food. Feeding bland and smelly foods like cooked white fish or plain cooked chicken might entice the cat to eat if it is not eating its usual food.
The most important way to treat the cat is to help it drink as much as possible. Wet food has a lot of moisture in, or adding some chicken broth to the water or even using formulated kitten or cat milk will help. In addition, mixing a teaspoon of canned pureed pumpkin (this has to be pure pumpkin and not the pie filling) to some wet food/chicken/fish will help get the system working again. Pilchards in tomato sauce (with most of the sauce drained off) is also another effective, if not unusual method. Adding salmon oil to food is also very effective, and also improves quality of a cat's coat and skin.
If the cat does not have a bowel movement in two days, it is advisable to take it straight to the vet, as the stool may have become impacted and could cause severe health complications if not treated quickly.

You could try giving milk to the cat. It will work in most situations, but in case it doesn't - make sure you take it to the vet.
You bring it to your vet.
I would not feed a betta peas if he is not constipated. They are not really meant to eat peas. But giving to them when they are constipated is a quick fix.
you can give your kitten cooked chicken and turkey.
Feed your kitten now.
there are spacial kitten foods.
yes you can but it will not give the kitten the nutrients it needs
yes
KMR or kitten milk replacer ring a vet and ask for some you will need to bottle feed it
no that's nasty
To feed them?
feed it every day
I would advise against it since kittens should be fed kitten food.
Lettuce is advised to feed. Feeding leafy greens will help keep this from happening. Make sure that you feed a variety of fresh vegetables to keep your pet healthy. I've heard your not supposed to feed them lettuce at all?? (question to you kodiakcathy)
