There are loads of things you can put in your bag to take when babysitting.. remember to think about the age of the children you are babysitting and also take things to do when the child/ren have gone to bed. You could take:
- Books (or a chapter book, and read a chapter every time you go)
- Dressing up clothes
- Make up (Check with their parents they are allowed to wear it)
- Board Games
- DVD's
- A CD (you can make up a dance
- Video's
- Some Arts and Crafts
- Pens, pencils and paper (Just make sure when they colour that you watch them and they don't vandalise everything!)
- Stickers (to give them if they are good)
- Sweets (Check with parents- also to give if good (VERY IMPORTANT- Give at the END when parents are home as then they won't go wild when you are there and then they won't go to bed :-())

∙ 13y agoEvery family is different. My suggestion would be to make your own handbook with a 3-ring binder, so you can easily add and remove information. Include a list of the names of the kids, the parents cell phone numbers, the house address and home phone numbers, emergency numbers, Allergies, meal and bedtime schedules/ rituals, and information about the kids.
The bag should be a good roomy tote or backpack.
It should have....
story books to read to the kids at bedtime
coloring books and crayons
a fun kids music CD ( KidzBop?)
a G-rated movie or show approved by the parents
reward stickers
bubbles, playing cards, and stuff for crafts
