It's a 7 minute, 1.6 mile walk from Penn Station to 345 Park Ave. If you really would rather ride, you can take the E train to 53rd Street, but it will take longer and cost money.

How do you get from 77th and Broadway to Penn Station?

Take either the Uptown 1 (of the 1-2-3, the red line) or the Uptown C (of the A-C-E, the blue line). You can take the Uptown 1 train from 34th Street-Penn Station to 79th Street (at Broadway).Or you can take the Uptown C train from 34th Street-Penn Station to 81st Street-Natural History Museum (at Central Park West).

Which subway do you take from pod 51 to Central Park?

You can take the Uptown 1 train (of the 1-2-3, the red line), 2 stops, from 34th Street-Penn Station to 50th Street (at Broadway).Or, you can take the Uptown C or E trains (of the A-C-E, the blue line), 2 stops, from 34th Street-Penn Station to 50th Street (at 8th Avenue).

What direction do you walk from 34th Street Penn Station to Central Park?

Take the Uptown C train (on the A-C-E, the blue line) from Penn Station (34th Street) to either 59th Street-Columbus Circle, 72nd Street, 81st Street, 86th Street, 96th Street or 103rd Street.Central Park runs south to north from 59th Street to 110th Street, and west to east from Central Park West to Fifth Avenue. The C train runs up and down Central Park West, so any of these stops -- 59th, 72nd, 81st, 86th, 96th, 103rd -- will drop you off right across the street from the park. The A train also runs up and down Central Park West, but it is an express train. It stops at 59th Street and then 125th Street. Remember, the north end of the park is at 110th Street. So if you take the A train, you must get off at the south end of the park (or, transfer at 59th Street for the Uptown C or B trains). The B and D trains also run up and down Central Park West, but they do not stop at Penn Station. But if you take the A train and then want to transfer at 59th, you can transfer to the B. Don't transfer to the D, because, like the A, the D is an express train and 125th Street is the next stop after 59th.See the Related Link below for a complete New York City subway map.

How do you get from Penn Station to Park Slope in Brooklyn?

The simplest way is to take the Uptown A express train (of the A-C-E, the blue line) from Chambers Street to 34th Street-Penn Station. You can also take the C, but it will be a longer trip, since the C is a local train. The entrance to the Brooklyn Bridge is located on the east side of City Hall Park. City Hall Park is bordered by Centre Street/Park Row to the east and south, Broadway to the west, and Chambers Street to the north. When you get to the east side of City Hall Park (Park Row/Centre Street), turn right, and walk up to the north side of City Hall Park (Chambers Street). Then walk 3 blocks west on Chambers Street to Church Street (Centre Street ---> Elk Street ---> Broadway ---> Church Street).Turn left and walk 1 block south on Church Street, from Chambers Street to Warren Street. The entrance to the Chambers Street Station on the A and C is at the corner of Church and Warren Streets.

What train goes from Penn Station to Park Ave South?

Take the Uptown E train (of the A-C-E, the blue line) from 34th Street-Penn Station to Lexington Avenue-53rd Street. This station is connected to the 51st Street Station on the 6 train (of the 4-5-6, the dark green line), so you can transfer without exiting the subway system. Transfer to the 6, and take the Downtown 6 to 33rd Street, 28th Street, 23rd Street or 14th Street. All of these stops are on Park Avenue South.

What train do you take from Kissena Blvd in Queens to 34th St in Manhattan?

Depending on where on Kissena Boulevard you're coming from, you can walk north to the 7 train, or south to the Ftrain. Both are operating as of November 4, 2012.To take the F: walk south on Kissena Boulevard until it merges into Parsons Boulevard. Then follow Parsons Boulevard south until it intersects with Hillside Avenue. Take the F train from Parsons Boulevard (at Hillside Avenue) to 34th Street-Herald Square (at 6th Avenue/Broadway) in Manhattan. To take the 7: follow Kissena Boulevard north until it merges into Main Street. Then walk 2 blocks north on Main Street until it intersects with Roosevelt Avenue. Take the 7 from Flushing-Main Street (at Roosevelt Avenue) to 42nd Street-Grand Central (at Park/Lexington Avenues), 42nd Street-Bryant Park (at 5th Avenue), or 42nd Street-Times Square (at 7th Avenue). You can then walk to 34th Street, or take the Downtown 61 stop from 42nd-Grand Central to 33rd Street (at Park/Lexington Avenues), or take the Downtown F 1 stop from 42nd-Bryant Park to 34th-Herald Square (at Broadway/6th Avenue), or the Downtown 1-2-3 1 stop from 42nd-Times Square to 34th Street-Penn Station (at 7th Avenue).

Which train do you take to 34th Street the 2 train or 5 train?

Take the 2 train. The 2 train stops at 34th Street-Penn Station (at 7th Avenue). The 5 train (of the 4-5-6, the dark green line) does not stop at 34th Street. Instead, you would have to transfer to the Downtown 6 at 42nd Street-Grand Central Station, and take the 6 one stop to 33rd Street (at Park Avenue South).Although, if you are going very far east on 34th Street (like, 3rd, 2nd or 1st Avenue) then you may want to take the 5 and transfer to the 6, because the walk from the station will be much shorter. The 1-2-3 line runs on the West Side, while the 4-5-6 runs on the East Side.

What subway do you take from Grand Central Station to 16 West 23rd Street?

Is the C train running to New York?

I'm assuming you meant to ask, "Is the C train running to Manhattan?" No, the C train is not running at all, as of November 4, 2012. The A is making local stops instead. And there is no service on the A between Jay Street-Metrotech and 34th Street-Penn Station, and from 168th Street to the Uptown end of the line, 207th Street-Inwood. Also, the Rockaway Park and Rockaway Beach branches of the A are not running, so the A line terminates at Lefferts Boulevard.Shuttle buses are operating between Jay Street-Metrotech and 34th Street-Penn Station.

How do you get from Penn Station to 49th Street and Park Avenue?

First, are you absolutely sure that you're going to Park Avenue, not Park Avenue South? Because there is a 250 Park Avenue, and also a 250 Park Avenue South. If you're sure it's regular Park Avenue you're going to, then you are headed to East 47th Street. Getting there is pretty straightforward. When you exit Penn Station, you will come out either at the West entrance or the East entrance. The West entrance is between West 33rd and West 34th, on 8th Avenue, and the East entrance is between West 33rd and West 34th on 7th Avenue. Walk east on 33rd or 34th until you hit Park Avenue (three to four avenue blocks). At Park Avenue, turn left, and walk north to East 47th Street. The address -- 250 Park Avenue -- is between East 46th and East 47th, but closer to 47th. If it's Park Avenue South you're looking for, then the directions are almost the same, except when you hit Park Avenue, you need to turn right, and walk south until you get to East 20th Street. The address -- 250 Park Avenue South -- is on or near the corner of 20th.
