DOT 3 brake fluid
The black plastic frame surrounding this panel, which includes the ventilation holes, can probably be pulled out. This provides access to the back of the panel where the light bulb is situated. After replacing the bulb, the frame can simply be pushed back on. This method applies to a 1993 Mitsubishi Space Runner, but can very probably be used for a 1995 Eagle Summit wagon.
Hi there, I have a 1992 Eagle Summit ES hatchback. I bought the car with the original manual book. The recommended trans fluid (automatic trans) is ATF type "F", this is because the A/T does not use "friction modifiers" that are in the common "dexron" Auto trans fluid used in most cars (ford, chev, etc). Use type "F" to keep your A/T shifting hard and gripping!
1993 was the first year the automatics used the electronic 4L60E transmission. Any 1993 - up Blazer/Bravada/Jimmy/S10/S15 automatic transmission should do.
4l60e
If it is a 1/2 ton then it will have the 4L60E in it. The 3/4 tons used the 4L80E transmission.
No, the 1983 - 1992 Crown Victorias used the AOD transmission and the 1993-1994 Crown Victorias used the AODE transmission, so they would be different. Sorry!
3/4 ton trucks used the 4L80E. The 1/2 tons used the 4L60E transmission.
dexron 3
Get the Haynes manual for the vehicle. It goes step by step. Used it for mine.
"1/2 tons used the 4L60E. The 3/4 tons used the 4L80E" The 1993 year models do not have the wiring harnesses or the computer required to operate an "E" series transmission. The "E" stands for electronic controls. The 1993 half ton automatics for the 1993 year model were still the 700R4.
