You can use any permanent antifreeze( prestone, peak, store brands) mixed at 50/50 with water. 15 years ago it was a concern because not all antifreeze formulations were compatible with aluminum engine parts but now all are. Antifreeze companies would like you to change your antifreeze every 2 years but changing it at the 100,000 mile intervals should be fine.I hope this helps you. It depend's on what type and year vehicle you are driving. some of the gm model's have a lifetime antifreeze that is orange in color.
Standard antifreeze should be changed every two years. Long life antifreeze needs changing every five years.
Dex-cool is recommended to be changed every 5 years.
The color of the antifreeze does not matter, as long as its the same type used to fill it the last time you changed it. I would suggest using the "long life or extended life antifreeze. this is good for around 2-3 years. You can buy the cheaper stuff, but it must be changed more often. But again, the color does not matter.

Find another shop. Most manual transmissions oil need to be changed only after 50,000 to 100,000 miles. If you have no shifting problems leave it alone.

That you change the belts when there is visible signs of wear. Look at the belt for cracks. Dryness and cracks are signs that the belt should be changed.
