If you take out the bulb, it should have information printed directly on it.
In my case (2001 Honda Civic LX 2 DR), the bulb reads 9003 HB2 H4 60/55W. If you get a 9003 compatible bulb, then it should work.
I'd like to thank the automotive genius that left this answer. Open the hood and then take out the bulb that has burnt out. Then put the new bulb where the old one used to be.
One of your headlight bulbs is most likely burnt out. Being halogen they have two different filaments, the regular filament is burnt while the high beam one is not. Pull each bulb out to see which one it is, that way you only replace one. Your car manual should show you how to accomplish this.
Burnt out or loosely connected bulb.
open hood to car. as u r facing the car there is a screw that holds the parking light assembly just above the headlight. unscrew the screw and the assembly slides right out. turn the burnt out bulb counter clockwise and replace it.after replacing just do the opposite to replace.
Low beam bulb is burnt out. Replace it.
99% of the time it is because you simply burned out one of you turn signal bulbs. find out which one it is by turning on you blinker on each side and then just determine if it is the front or back. replace the burnt out one and it will work fine. signed, happy Honda Henry
Burnt out maybe...........
no
All you will need to change the bulb is a screwdriver and a new bulb. Remove the headlight cover using the screwdriver and remove the burnt out bulb. Once out, you can insert a new bulb into the slot and replace the headlight cover.
find the burnt out fuse and replace accordingly with the same or weaker: NEVER stronger.
You take the car to the Shop, pay someone 1600$ (est) to remove the cylinder head and get the head rebuilt. Have them replaced the water pump and the timing belt while they are doing it. The reason a valve gets burnt, is that the valve does not touch the valve seat to enable it to be cooled. Aka a valve lash adjustment problem, or a Bent valve
After the accident, one headlight tilted upward. You can get a ticket if your headlight is burnt out.Headlights and taillights are required on vehicles.
