Best Answer

Same kind of education given in the US, or any other western country for that matter: there are public schools as well as private schools.

Public education on the lower levels (primary and secondary education) is one of the worst in the Western Hemisphere, but it compensates on higher levels, with the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (Spanish for National Autonomous University of Mexico) and the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (National Polytechnic Institute) as some of the best universities in Latin America.

Private education is quite expensive, but many schools and colleges are internationally recognized for the quality of their education, such as Montessori schools. Private colleges and universities are also some of the best in the region, such as the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (Spanish: Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey) or the Universidad de las Americas - Puebla (University of the Americas), both members being part of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) in the United States.
