85W90 gear oil.
dexron III or dexron IV can be used
you have to take the seat out and pull off all of the rear paneling however this is really hard to do. the panels can break very easly. your best bet would be to take it to a pro.

Underneath the frame on the right side of the bike, if original it will be a aluminum rectangle with a couple wires on it, you will have to take the bags and covers of the left side to access the fluid reservoir

Take out the fill plug and stick your pinky finger in. The fluid should be to the edge of the fill. If you are experiencing mild rear problems (clicking etc), change the fluid before you get permanent damage. Use GM gear fluid and additive from dealer.
I would take it to an authorized Chevy dealer to check it out.
Power take off unit. Takes AP4 transmission fluid.
there is 2 different ways to change the fluid this is a drain plug on the front of the rear diff or you can take the back of the pumpkin off on the rear diff.

Most of the manual trannys take rear end fluid, 80w-90, light brown in color and semi-transparent.
