Use 5w20 engine oil in any brand doesn't matter. Don't go thinner than that because you will burn a lot of oil.

One guy told me he uses 5w30 because its a little thicker and won't burn as much. I also read on the internet (so it must be true) that in countries other than the US, Mazda allows 5w30 for warrantly coverage.
