Try Napa, or just go to a Mazda dealers part dept. They come in both spin on and cartride. And if i remember correctly it is 4.5 qts.
AnswerIt is a cartridge. Make sure you get the kit, because you will need the O-rings, also. FYI, you need to get a "special" wrench to remove the housing in order to replace the oil filter. These parts can all be purchased at a Mazda dealer's parts department or online. AnswerI love my 2005 Mazda 3 2.3 liter, but we can't find oil filters ANYWHERE!!! The guy at Autozone said they didn't even have access to order one. Normally not a big deal, but my husband has never and will never take a vehicle to someone else to change the oil.
