On newer corsas the power steering is all Electronic so it doesn't need power steering fluid.
You don't. The Power Steering is electric and does not use fluid.
01.02.2013. Vauxhall supply green and red fluid. Local dealership state no brand name on bottle from vauxhall, just 'power steering fluid'. They order it on a vauxhall part number. Green fluid is £15.84 per litre. If you having a service, they should top it up anyway.
can you tell me the location of the power steering fluid resovoir on a vauxhall vectre v6 3ltr cdti (2004 ), many thanks
bit of a nightmare to get to, the reservoir is on top of the power steering pump which is located behind the bumper on the o/s/f corner
i had this, all fluid just bust out onto road, steering became really stiff, i got it fixed for 300 quid, was power steering pump sensors and steering pump. garage said someone had messed with my car?
nearside bulkhead under bonnet just above steering rack, it should be an electric pump powering the fluid resrvoir
The power steering pump resivoir.
power steering fluid is fluid that makes the power steering pump work and it goes in the power steering pump under the hood.
The power steering fluid recommended is Mopar
For the TS Astra with hydraulic-electric power steering, it takes a Pentosin CHF fluid. A couple of equivalents I have come across include Castrol Hydraulic System Mineral Oil Plus, and Penrite LDAS fluid.
