i had this, all fluid just bust out onto road, steering became really stiff, i got it fixed for 300 quid, was Power Steering pump sensors and steering pump. garage said someone had messed with my car?
were is the power steering fluid resovoir on vauxhall signum 53 diesel
can you tell me the location of the power steering fluid resovoir on a vauxhall vectre v6 3ltr cdti (2004 ), many thanks
bit of a nightmare to get to, the reservoir is on top of the power steering pump which is located behind the bumper on the o/s/f corner
under drivers wheel arch very tight space.
You can pour fluid into the power steering reservoir. Remove the top to the reservoir and fill to the full Mark on the side of the reservoir.
you power steering fluid may be low, if that was the case then you would have lowerd hydrolic power to steer the wheels and have to compensate by using more force...which may be why your steering is stiff.
If you mean the white one with a black top on it and a torx type depression in the middle of it - it is the power steering fluid bottle. Mounted on top of the electric power steering unit
the sensor is underneath the power steering pump and the alternator, awkward to get to, you may have to remove top fixing for the dipstick housing.
The power steering pump resivoir.
01.02.2013. Vauxhall supply green and red fluid. Local dealership state no brand name on bottle from vauxhall, just 'power steering fluid'. They order it on a vauxhall part number. Green fluid is £15.84 per litre. If you having a service, they should top it up anyway.
£800 at Vauxhall franchised garage!
No power steering was not in 1997 corsa. it came after 1999
