The transmission drain plug on a 1999 Ford Contour 4 cylinder engine is located on the front of the transmission, behind the engine. It is used to remove the oil fluid during fluid changes.

92-99 Toyota Camry with the 5SFE 4 cylinder engine uses Dexron III ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid) for the automatic transmission.
Originally it was type A fluid. Dexron will be the replacement fluid.

4.0L engine - 8litres of "DEXTRON III/MERCON" fluid (dry fill) 2.5L engine - 6.6litres (dry fill)
There should be a dipstick at the very back of the engine. It should be gray and say transmission.

It depends on the engine size... 2.5L = MOPAR ATF PLUS (Automatic Transmission Fluid - Type 7176) 4.0L = MOPAR Automatic Transmission Fluid (P/N 4773590) or equivalent labeled DEXRON III MERCRON fluid. This information is taken directly from the 1995 Jeep Cherokee Owner's Manual, page 168. Putting in the wrong kind of transmission fluid will cause problems.
