Aside from computers (which were mostly used by businesses and the military), technology was all analog. Long-distance communications relied heavily on terrestrial microwave relay networks and undersea cables. The first transatlantic communications satellite was launched in 1965. Real-time control of dynamic systems, including missile guidance, was done with analog computers, as digital computers were not fast enough. Huge advancements were made in chemistry, leading to the development of many new synthetic materials. Integrated circuits typically contained fewer than 100 transistors and were still too expensive for consumer applications; consumer electronic products used discrete transistors, billions of which were produced.
They didn't have as much electricity so people had many non electrical appliances. Homes in the 1960s had basically the same electrical appliances that they do today. However, fewer homes had air conditioning, particularly in northern climates, and fewer homes had dishwashers.
They lived on a smaller income and therefore couldn't use as much electricity.
Electricity was much less expensive than it is today, so people didn't need to conserve as much. Homes were not as well insulated as they are today; those with electric heat probably used a lot more electricity than anyone could afford today.
Things like fridges were around and lawenmowers that didn't use petrol but these were much heavier than current mowers.
Actually, push mowers are much lighter than current lawnmowers, because they don't have a fifty-pound engine. For some types of grass, reel-type push mowers still do a much better job. The first practical barcode scanner was made in 1966.
The original Apollo 11 astronauts were burnt alive inside Apollo 11 during takeoff because they couldn't get the hatch open when the cock pit caught fire. thAt was 1969
Apollo 1 (not Apollo 11) astronauts died in a cockpit fire during a test rehearsal, about a month before their scheduled launch date. That was January of 1967 (not 1969). The next manned Apollo mission was Apollo 7, which orbited the earth for 11 days, followed by Apollo 8, 9 and 10, each of which orbited the moon. The Apollo 11 mission, in which Armstrong and Aldrin walked on the surface of the moon, was in July, 1969.
Technology was bad back than cause electricity was no good back in the 60s they used some stuff that we have now but their was'NT as good as our tech now. Stuff like computers, phone, and Printers.
Science and technology functioned on different levels during the 1960's, much unlike how it is today. In 1961, the first robot was created as was the first trans-continental telegraph. Science discoveries during the 1960's included space travel, the existence of Sierpinski numbers, and the first pacemaker.
Transistors were just coming into play, most transistor radios were monotone, our televisions were mostly black and white, 3 channels + pbs (abc, nbc, cbs). rotary dial phones, touch tone came around in the 70's but were for wealthy people who could afford to throw money away. nothing but an AM radio in most cars, fm was blooming .
reel to reel tape recorders. I had a cheap pair of walkie talkies for Christmas, you could talk to someone a couple hundred feet away , woohoo. I am 53 so you can imagine how much has changed since then.
In 1960 the laser was invented by Theodore Maiman, the first manned space flight was in 1961 (the man was yurai Gagarin) and in 1969 the first man stepped onto the moon (his name was Neil Armstrong ) in 1962 the first artificial communications satellite (named Telstar) beamed a picture across the Atlantic Ocean. That may not seem like a big deal, but it had never happened before back then. Telstar was also able to, "beam" television and telephone signals. Thus the birth of satellite TV I guess!
Well that's all from me,Im going to go pleasure myself to my nieghbor (as in sex)edward you could have a quick look around the net if you want more, try Google using main words like, "1960's," "Advances" and, "Technological." Hope I've been helpful, I had to make a time line of this sort of stuff for school so I might as well give you a hand up!

I have no idea what science was in the 1960's. To be really honest with you.

Sounds like a term paper or homework assignment. It's something you must answer for yourself. But if you want my opinoin technology controls us.

Many musicians need technology, like the egde from u2 needs it for his different effects on the guitar. Also many groups like greenday for example use a lot of distortion in there songs like boulevard of broken dreams. And third many artists use the electric guitar for there music. That's how technology effects music
Yes in America.

what is the meaning of debugs
they didnt, and still dont teleportation is a nonexistent technology at this point in time
There are a number of different kinds of science and technology that they had in the 1950s and 1960s. The microwave for example was very popular.
The most common technology device in the 1960s was televisions. In the 1980s it was home phones, computers, and pagers.
Tough.
The end of world war 2, computers, television automobiles, economy, and technology
Many cars, buses and trains in the 1960s looked very futuristic. This was a current trend at the time, as science fiction and the advancement of technology were very popular.
the gangs were violent and had may difference's.
