His father skipped out when was about two, leaving him with his mother and grandparents, but I doubt that this was a struggle. He mother remarried to an Indonesian and he went with her to Indonesia and this may have been a little hard for him. After that, he had an easy life, but I suspect he had most of the struggles that anyone has in growing up. He worked for what he got and he must have found it hard at times, but not too hard since he succeeded wildly in virtually everything he tried until he became President.

After the first year, practically everything has been a struggle for him as President.
