The Intolerable Acts were also known as the Coercive Acts. They forced the colonists to do what ever the British wanted. That includes giving housing and food for free away to the British soldiers.

the Parliament made several laws. the colonist called them the intorable acts. they made the laws because of the Boston tea party. the colonist called them the intorable because they could not accpet them. the leaders from each colonie went to philadelphia to talk about the problems with Britain.
