Theodore Roosevelt was President of the United States from September 1901 until March 1909. During that time the United States was not involved in any declared wars.

During his Presidency, however, Roosevelt was significantly involved in negotiating the end of the Russo-Japanese War, activity for which he received the Nobel Peace Prize.

The Philippine Insurection, also called the Philippine War of Independence, a fight between the US occupying forces and Philippine nationalists, was ended during Roosevelt's Presidency.

There were also several wars around the world during his Presidency in which the US had no involvement at all. These included:

  • the Anglo-Aro War in nigeria
  • the unification of Saudi Arabia
  • British Expedition to Tibet
  • Herero War (Germany vs.natives in German South-West Africa)
  • Russian Revolution (1905)
  • Dutch intervention in Bali
  • Bambatha Rebellion (Zulu revolt against British rule)
  • Romanian Peasants' Revolt
  • Dutch-Venezuela War
