Cro-Magnons were early humans who lived in Europe during the late period of the Neanderthals. They were physically much closer to modern Europeans but there were still considerable differences:

  • their skulls were larger, longer and relatively lower - some had bulging occipital bones (but not necessarily inherited from Neanderthals)
  • the brains were larger than in modern Europeans
  • their faces were flatter, with more prominent cheek bones and lower, less prominent noses
  • they had larger teeth and jaws
  • the height of an adult male was around 1.84 m (6'1"); adult female around 1.67 m (5'6")
  • body proportions were those of a warm climate human

This assumes that you are a creationist. Not being one, and since there are no fossils found tying back Cromagnon to the neanderthal family tree, I propose that the aliens who were performing genetic manipulation on the existing hominids of the time, produced male and female of the same mutation as equals.
